The name Lecab has its origins in the company Levander & Co AB, which was founded after World War II. The business encompassed everything from the sale of cars to the manufacture of trucks, roller conveyors and other conveyor systems.
Over the years, a large number of important systems were supplied to leading Scandinavian companies, many of which had a high degree of automation for the time. In 1958, the restructured materials handling company Lecab Rullbanor AB was formed. Then as now, conveyors and customised systems were developed and manufactured for both Swedish and foreign customers.
In 1982, the company changed its name to Lecab Materialhantering AB, which better describes the current activities.
Lecab stands for a total solution and total commitment. This includes the planning, design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of our systems. By keeping it 'all under one roof', we at Lecab have complete control over all stages of the project.
Our personnel have a sound technical background and considerable experience within our field. We prefer to get involved and present our company and what we can do for You.
Lecab's activities are located in Mölnlycke outside Gothenburg, only 10 km from Landvetter Airport, which makes it quick and easy for us to reach most locations in Sweden and the rest of Europe.
Since 2009 of april Lecab is a part of the Norwegian technical group Goodtech ASA, Oslo stock exchange. www.goodtech.no
